The Front Room

Explore The Front Room

The Front Room welcomes visitors to the earliest days of life in and around Prosser. Displays are arranged like chapters in a book, including: the ancient Yakama fishing site called Taptat, dryland farming, transportation, irrigation, social life, horse culture and antique firearms. This introduction to Prosser history is illuminated by a variety of artifacts, photographs and eyewitness accounts of the ordinary and extraordinary events of yesteryear.

Let your memories become part of Prosser's legacy.

Our community's history includes not only the distant past—it's being made each and every day. Please consider sharing your historic Prosser photographs, artifacts, and remembrances from 1-100+ years ago with the Prosser Historical Museum. These links to the past are of great importance to Prosser residents and visitors and will become even more so in the future. Contributions may also be sent via email or given in person.
